What an experience. Honestly. It was the happiest time. And a dedicated and fine group of adventurous characters who never want anything to be ordinary. We loved you for giving us this. And there is a Nigerian proverb which goes, “Hold on to a friend with both your good hands”, so I know that is how we all feel about you.
All that is left to say, is, can we do it all over again?
The people, places and food were wonderful. It was a fantastic week of bonding, yoga, and meditation led by the incomparable Nura and Theo. Thank you for having me!
A Piedmonte Haiku
The need to center
Eased fully by Nura’s smile
Ready to re-start
I entered the Piedmonte weekend carrying a considerable amount of stress and tension much of which was alleviated the moment I drove on to the Villa property. The stunning views and warm faces were a welcome antidote to TASIS life. Nura’s energy and expertise carried me through the two days with a genuine spirit that made me feel heard and cared for the entire time. I am so grateful to her and to my fellow retreaters for a experience I will never forget.
